Sweet and Sour Slaw

1 head cabbage, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 cup sugar
1 cup white vinegar
1 cup oil

Bring sugar, vinegar, and oil to a rapid boil. Let mixture cool and pour over cabbage. Refrigerate for 24 hours.
