Main Dishes


1 pound of ground beef or 12 ounces of soy crumbles (like Morning Star) for vegetarian
1/2 cup of chopped onion
1 Tablespoon vinegar
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
4 teaspoons lemon juice
1/2 cup catsup
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard

Brown the ground beef or soy crumbles with onion. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer uncovered for at least one hour. Serve barbeque on hamburger buns with hamburger pickles.
