1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 cup butter-flavored shortening

1 cup chopped walnuts, divided

1/2 cup flaked coconut

2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened

2/3 cup sugar

2 eggs

Press remaining mixture into a greased 13x9 baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Meanwhile, for filling, beat cream cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla in a bowl until smooth. Spread over hot crust. Bake 15 minutes. Spread pie filling on top.
