Chop Suey

2 pounds sirloin (cubed)
1 onion
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 cups water
3 cups celery (sliced)
1 cup beansprouts

Brown Gravy Sauce:
1/4 cup molasses
2 Tablespoons cornstarch

Brown the meat in 3 Tablespoons oil. Add the onion, salt, pepper, and 1-1/2 cup water. Cover and cook slowly about 30 minutes. Then add the celery. Next add the Brown Gravy Sauce, cover and cook 10-15 minutes more. Add beansprouts and heat through.
